This is like a very down-to-earth, thoroughly applied IFS (at least from what I know about IFS) where you either tap into standard library archetypes, or download an extension with novel classes, or build a new class yourself. Great post, thank you, Michael!

Thank you! I only had IFS vaguely in my mind, but yes I agree that there's some overlap here. I don't know if IFS talks about accessing anything outside of the Self-model, but it might be fun to play with as part of an IFS practice!

Me neither, I've never read anything IFS-related aside from a couple of tweets. So I probably have some heavy modification of IFS in mind. Just archetypal subagents that dwell somehow in my head — that's the entirety of my knowledge of it! :)
